Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Ohio. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images and supporting CT-guided procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include IV starts, patient scheduling, and collaborating with nurses, physicians and therapists. AARPT CT credential or in progress, Ohio license, and BLS are required; cross-training is offered, with a 4x10 schedule and biweekly 80 hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or within probation period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images and assists with CT-guided procedures.
• IV starts and patient scheduling/coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination.
• Communicates effectively with the care team and maintains composure under stress.
