Atrium Health in Macon, GA seeks a Radiology CT Technologist to support CT imaging procedures. You will prepare patients, obtain medical histories, verify orders with radiologists, and perform CT scans while maintaining radiation safety and infection control practices.

You will administer IV contrast as directed and document procedures, collaborating with radiologists and allied staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized radiologic or NMTCB program.
• Certification within one year of hire; BLS required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development for patient populations.

Aufgaben

• Examine requests and verify orders with Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Interview patients for medical history and review EMRs; record history on requisitions.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA; maintain sterile technique.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast; record type and amount as directed.
• Ensure radiation safety; report equipment issues to supervision.
• Rotate shifts, including call back, holidays, and weekends.
