Job summary

UNC Health's Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking a Lead Imaging Technologist for the CT department. The role coordinates patient scheduling, assigns daily work, and serves as a resource for CT technologists, driving procedure improvements and training initiatives.

The position oversees staff training, evaluates performance, and coordinates time and resources while monitoring equipment and budgets within the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiological Science program.
• Registration as CT technologist with ARRT.
• 2 years of clinical work experience in imaging.
• Good understanding of human anatomy.
• Experience reading and interpreting complex radiology orders.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and triage procedures by priority and skill requirements.
• Perform routine and complex CT scans.
• Ensure smooth section operations and assist colleagues as needed.
• Contribute to staffing decisions and performance evaluations.
• Train and mentor imaging staff and students; update protocols.
