Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking a Lead Imaging Technologist for the CT department. The role oversees daily CT operations, schedules patient workups, and supports technologists with protocol updates and training. The Lead Technologist works onsite, guiding junior staff and ensuring quality and cost-effective imaging services.

The position requires ARRT CT registration, a Radiologic Science degree, and at least two years in imaging. Day shifts with 40 hours per week are typical.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• Registration as CT technologist with ARRT.
• 2 years of clinical imaging experience.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy.
• Experience reading and interpreting complex radiology orders.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and coordinates CT section activities and staff.
• Performs routine and complex diagnostic CT scans.
• Monitors QA, protocol updates, and equipment maintenance.
• Trains and mentors CT staff and students.
• Assists with ACR certification/credentialing.
