Advocate Health, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a CT Supervising Technologist to lead the radiology department. The role oversees scanner operations, staff scheduling, and quality control, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety.

The position requires ARRT CT certification with a minimum of 3 years CT experience, on-call rotation, and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Full-time hours with weekend on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT registry and CT certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of CT experience.
• BS degree preferred per job description.

Responsabilités

• Supervises activities of the assigned area and ensures coverage for all scanners and tasks daily.
• Coordinates patient/workflow, prioritizes procedures and adjusts workloads.
• Ensures adequate patient care as it relates to procedures requested.
• Validates exam quality and outcomes; participates in staff training and meetings.
• Orders and maintains supplies; ensures security and PAR levels per shift.
• Obtains medications or contrast materials as directed for licensed practitioners.
• Maintains staff records, PTO, attendance, and performance documentation; supports payroll processes.
• Maintains status reports on patient throughput, equipment downtime, and supply charges.
• Ensures patient safety in treatment areas and monitors equipment; communicates emergencies.
