Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and perform procedures that support accurate diagnostic imaging. You will interview and prepare patients, ensure safe use of the equipment, and drive optimal care outcomes.

Responsibilities include reviewing imaging orders, obtaining consent for contrast, establishing IV access, applying contrast, and following scanning protocols. This is a per diem on-site role with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• Registration as CT technologist with ARRT.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy.
• Experience reading and interpreting complex radiology orders.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scanning with focus on safety and image quality.
• Reads imaging orders and consults radiologist when needed.
• Obtains consent for contrast, establishes IV access, and applies contrast.
• Interviews patients to assess risk factors and prior medical history.
• Selects scanning protocols and imaging parameters per anatomy and tech limits.
• Guides patients and explains the exam to ensure calm, accurate imaging.
