Job summary

Requires ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with ARRT CT registry within one year of hire, plus BLS. This position supports a 36-hour work week with a pay range of $33.05–$49.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology certification or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Exams and verifies orders; refers to Radiologist when there are discrepancies.
• Identify patients using two identifiers; prepare patients and explain procedures.
• Review EMR for pertinent history and document on requisitions; correlate tests and results.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures; maintain sterile techniques.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and report equipment malfunctions; participate in safety trainings.
