Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a CT Technologist I for part-time night shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun, 11:00pm–7:30am) in the Pineville CT department. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment, administer IV contrast, and work under departmental protocols to produce high-quality images.

Responsibilities include patient prep, history review, proper safety practices, and collaboration with radiologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology, or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and refer to Radiologist if discrepancies.
• Explain procedures to patients and assist during exams.
• Review patient history and EMR for pertinent data.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment with proficiency.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and document usage.
• Ensure image quality and consult Radiologist as needed.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures.
• Provide patient care and assist in emergencies as required.

Education

AMA accredited Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program

ARRT certification in Radiology OR NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine

ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire

CPR certification
