Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures according to established protocols, operating CT scanners and related equipment with proficiency. This full-time role includes weekend shifts and a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; ARRT CT registry within 1 year.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and ensure radiologist review for discrepancies.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prepare patients.
• Interview patients for medical history and review EMRs.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist during procedures.
• Operate radiology computer systems and document contrast administration.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment issues.
