Job summary

Charlotte Radiology, P.A. is seeking a CT/X-ray technologist in Huntersville, NC. The role involves performing CT and X-ray imaging, ensuring safety regarding radiation and contrast, and completing all related paperwork accurately and efficiently.

The candidate will verify orders with radiologists, manage IVs and contrast administration, and coordinate with PACS/IT for image distribution. Travel is minimal; strong communication and adherence to protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• CT experience and ARRT CT registration.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment with proficiency and verifies orders before procedures.
• Operates X-ray equipment with proficiency.
• Handles paperwork, orders, and authorization processes; records medical history.
• Performs IVs, administers contrast, conducts lab work as needed.
• Monitors supplies and stock room; communicates with radiologist for protocols.
• Communicates with PACS/IT for imaging distribution as needed.
