Accounting Search client seeks a Project Manager to lead day-to-day management of commercial electrical projects in Connecticut, ranging from $300K to $4M, with input on estimating for smaller projects and change orders.

The role is hands-on, field-savvy, and requires managing multiple active jobs. Work is 60% office-based and 40% on job sites across CT, reporting to the Head of Construction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in project management within the commercial electrical industry.
• E-2 electrical license in Connecticut is preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong field background.
• Estimating experience preferred (especially change order estimates).
• Proficient with project coordination and scheduling.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects across the state of Connecticut.
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Attend weekly job meetings and visit job sites regularly (company vehicle provided).
• Handle small project and change order estimating using McCormick software.
• Review scope, schedule, materials, labor needs, and change requests.
• Maintain constant communication with the Head of Construction and ensure updates are tracked and communicated clearly.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance on job sites.
• Deliver jobs on time, within budget, and with minimal errors.
