Job summary

Our client, a well-established mid-sized commercial electrical contractor based in Milford, CT, seeks a Project Manager with experience in commercial electrical projects to lead day-to-day management on projects ranging from $300K to $4M.

They are looking for a hands-on, field-savvy professional who can assist with estimating on smaller projects and change orders and hit the ground running. Immediate hire with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in project management within the commercial electrical industry.
• E-2 electrical license in Connecticut is preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification is required or obtainable.
• Estimating experience preferred, especially change orders.
• Familiarity with McCormick estimating software is a plus.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects across Connecticut.
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Attend weekly job meetings and visit job sites regularly (company vehicle provided).
• Handle small project and change order estimating using McCormick software.
• Review scope, schedule, materials, labor needs, and change requests.
• Maintain constant communication with Head of Construction and ensure updates are tracked and communicated clearly.
• Uphold safety standards and OSHA compliance on job sites.
• Deliver jobs on time, within budget, and with minimal errors.
