Job summary

Our client is a well-established mid-sized commercial electrical contractor based in Milford, CT, serving commercial, institutional, and industrial clients across multi-residential housing, healthcare, education, retail, and more.

They seek a Project Manager experienced with commercial electrical jobs to lead day-to-day project management for projects from $300K to $4M, assist in estimating for smaller projects and change orders, and hit the ground running.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in the commercial electrical industry.
• E-2 electrical license in Connecticut is preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong field background with hands-on project involvement.
• Estimating experience, especially change order estimates.
• Proficient in project coordination and scheduling, with knowledge of McCormick software.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial/industrial electrical projects across Connecticut.
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Attend weekly job meetings and visit job sites regularly; company vehicle provided.
• Handle small project and change order estimating using McCormick software.
• Review scope, schedule, materials, labor needs and change requests.
• Maintain updates with the Head of Construction and communicate clearly.
• Uphold OSHA safety standards on all job sites.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, with minimal errors.
