Job summary

Hammond Services, Inc. is seeking qualified Customer Service Representatives to join our family-owned team in the South Metro Atlanta area.

You will be the first contact for customers, handling a high volume of calls, emails, and service orders with a professional and courteous approach. We offer opportunities for advancement, a 401(k) with employer match, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.

Qualifications

• Experience with a multi-line phone system in a customer service role.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.

• Assist the Customer Service department with basic to mid-level issues and escalate high-level issues to the Manager.

• Assist field supervisors in coordinating with customers to set up service calls.
• Create service information advertising folders for the field staff.

Hammond Services is growing, and we are looking for qualified Customer Service Representatives who want to grow with us!

We are a family owned and operated business that has been serving the South Metro Atlanta area since 1979. We are a well-established and respected Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical company that takes pride in everything we do.

As the first contact for our company, you will be setting the example for the quality and professionalism of our company. This is a demanding position where you may be dealing with up to 100 calls per day. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar position where they have been responsible for greeting visitors and working with a multi-line phone system. Prior experience making outbound sales calls is a plus!

Work Hours:

• Mon – Fri, 7a-4p, or 9a-6p and possible Saturday rotation

What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Bring:

• Prior experience in a similar position where they have worked with a multi-line phone system taking incoming and making outgoing calls. Prior experience making outbound sales calls is a plus!
• Computer literate with expert knowledge in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; working knowledge of all office equipment.
• Ability to type at a minimum of 40 wpm. Previous experience demonstrating typing in a fast-paced setting.

• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Effectively manage call volume and day-to-day tasks; be able to work flexible schedules including overtime, as needed.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
