Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of HVAC residential and/or light commercial field experience.
• EPA Type I, II, III or Universal certifications required; other HVAC certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance requirements; minimum age 22.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Be flexible with schedules including overtime when needed.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, replace, and troubleshoot residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Repair or service HVAC systems to improve efficiency; routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on residential systems with minimal supervision.
• Communicate with customers about malfunctions to prevent future issues.
• Use software to report work completed and collect customer payments (COD).
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete installations and repairs efficiently.

This position will require travel to our Griffin office for on-the-job training (up to 6 weeks).

Pay Range

• $70,000 – $130,000+ annually (based on experience, certifications, and performance)

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, replace, and troubleshoot residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning condenser and coils using approved methods and chemicals.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on residential systems with minimal assistance and supervision while sustaining a positive attitude with the customers you service.
• Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with customers to avoid future problems.
• Use of software to report work completed and collect customer payments (COD).
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete installations and repairs efficiently.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 3+ years of HVAC residential and/or light commercial field experience required. Completion of HVAC schooling, preferred.
• Obtain the appropriate certifications (EPA Type I, II, III or Universal). Other HVAC certifications are a PLUS!
• Have a valid driver’s license and meet auto insurance requirements (minimum age to drive 22 years old).
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Effectively manage call volume and day-to-day tasks; be able to work flexible schedules including overtime, as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
