Job summary

Merck in Millsboro, DE is seeking a Warehouse & LN Room Support Technician to help manage materials, inventory, and LN room operations. You will work with Warehouse Operations and Manufacturing to ensure smooth flow, timely receiving and shipping, and strict adherence to safety, quality, and GMP standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years in warehouse or related fields, and the ability to operate SAP and basic MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or advanced education preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling operations preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and effectively communicate information to colleagues at various levels.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with PC operations and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including overtime, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Documentation Practices, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and demonstrate safe work habits at all times.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and inventory transactions.
• Store, organize, and maintain raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods inventory.
• Pull, stage, and issue materials to support manufacturing and internal customer requests.
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy within SAP.
• Support LN room operations, including the handling, transfer, storage, and monitoring of cryogenic materials.
• Prepare and package materials for domestic and international shipments.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Attend required training, workshops, and meetings.
