Job summary

Merck is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for our Animal Health facility in Millsboro, DE. The role focuses on operations in cell culture, filling and packaging with strong emphasis on safety and quality. Training provided to follow GMP and SOPs, with opportunities for career development.

The position requires a High School diploma/GED, detail-oriented documentation, and ability to work in a manufacturing team. Eligible for annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to documentation and record-keeping.
• Basic reading, arithmetic and computer skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment with training.
• Assist with equipment setup and operation.
• Perform manual/automatic operations and general maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping and perform facility decontamination.
• Assist with aseptic procedures including media prep and filling vaccines.
• Help with non-aseptic handling of live poultry during tissue harvest.
• Handle filling, labeling, packaging and product inspection.
• Maintain records and logs; ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Identify deviations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Participate in weekly reports and ongoing training.
