Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician for its Millsboro, Delaware site. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot process and environmental HVAC systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and high performance.

The role requires strong teamwork and safety discipline, with on-call rotation and ongoing training. Preferred candidates hold an AS degree in a technical discipline and a universal refrigerant license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AS degree preferred.
• 3+ years with refrigeration equipment; 5+ years HVAC experience.
• Licensed in universal refrigerant; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot HVAC systems and process controls.
• Own regulatory compliance for site HVAC equipment.
• Coordinate with site customers on status of systems.
• Maintain spare parts inventories for HVAC equipment.
• Assist in investigations of abnormal equipment performance.
• Support safety initiatives and lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Provide training to others as required.
• Work as part of a high-performance team to ensure GMP compliance.
