Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a manufacturing/valve technician to support the production of cryogenic valves and controls components. You will work on integrating, testing, and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatically actuated systems across spaceflight hardware, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Minimum qualifications include 2+ years in aerospace or related fields, ability to read engineering drawings, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in aerospace, aircraft, R&D or related fields.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving drive.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with cryogenic systems preferred.
  • CAD experience for reviewing 3-D models.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate, test, verify, and troubleshoot cryogenic valves and systems.
  • Perform component maintenance, inspection and repair.
  • Assist engineers with design concepts and tooling feedback.
  • Follow and improve work instructions for complex systems.
  • Safely handle chemical and high-pressure systems.
  • Ensure tasks are on schedule and performed safely.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment and show initiative.
  • Improve processes and operational efficiency.
