Job summary

Blue Origin in Colorado is seeking a Liquid Systems Responsible Engineer with cryogenic fluids experience. The role focuses on hardware ownership and manufacturing integration for cryogenic propellant management components on the Blue Moon lunar program.

You’ll contribute to design reviews, supplier coordination, and production readiness. You will split time between technical hardware support and manufacturing engineering tasks, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with quality standards

Qualifications

B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or related field.
5+ years with cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems in manufacturing or aerospace.
Experience supporting aerospace systems for flight and hardware development.
Hands-on with fluid/gas components and DFM/DFA input to manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Support hardware ownership of cryogenic propellant management components across requirements, design, and verification.
Work within Zero-g Propellant Management IPT, escalating complex problems to senior engineers.
Support trade studies, component design/integration, analysis, and supplier interfaces for fluid hardware.
Track procurements and hardware dependencies to support delivery schedules.
Develop manufacturing documentation and support non-conformance investigations with guidance.
