Job summary

Messer CES is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and service cryogenic product supply equipment at customer sites in the assigned coverage area.

Responsibilities include maintaining gas delivery systems (N2, O2, Ar, CO2, Hydrogen, Helium), assisting installations/removals, and providing technical support to customers. The role requires self-motivation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work at sites with occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Regularly maintain gas delivery systems including storage tanks, vaporizers, control panels, telemetry systems.
• Assist with customer station installations/removals as needed.
• Perform corrective maintenance to keep customer installations running effectively.
• Serve as the technical face of Messer with customers and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Act as a technical resource alongside the sales team on customer calls.
• Follow Messer safety policies and goals.
• Manage inventory in personal storeroom valued around $50K–$150K.
• Work independently at customer sites as the main technical resource.
