Job summary

Messer CES is a leading provider of industrial gases solutions, responsible for the maintenance and service of contracted Messer Cryogenic Product Supply Equipment at customer sites. The role covers upkeep of gas delivery systems including nitrogen, oxygen, argon, CO2, hydrogen, and helium in the assigned area.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
2+ years of post-graduation technical classes or work experience preferred.
2+ years of industrial experience or equivalent preferred.
Navy Nuclear, Air Force Fueling, Marine Cryo or Navy Fire Control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Regularly maintain gas delivery systems including storage tanks, vaporizers, control panels, telemetry systems for N2, O2, Ar, CO2, Hydrogen, Helium.
Assist with customer station tank installations and removals.
Perform corrective maintenance service calls to keep installations running.
Serve as the technical face for Messer with customers during Bulk installation contracts and identify efficiency improvements.
Act as a technical resource accompanying the sales team on customer calls.
Follow Messer safety policies and procedures.
Manage personal storeroom of inventory, approximately $50K-$150K in rotating parts.
Work independently at customer sites as the main Messer technical resource.
Occasional call-out maintenance including evenings/weekends; potential 5-10% overnight travel.
