Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking a Service Technician to safely install and maintain cryogenic and non-cryogenic bulk gas storage systems. The technician will dispatch from home for standard 8-hour days, with overtime for emergencies and customer installations, serving a two-hour radius with most work during normal business hours.

Training will be on-the-job plus classroom training on SOPs and code requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; high school diploma or GED acceptable with preference.
• Minimum 5 years in related field preferred, ideally in industrial gas.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain bulk gas storage systems outdoors in seasonal conditions.
• Interact professionally with customers, project managers, sales reps, contractors, and inspectors.
• Complete site surveys for bulk gas installations.
• Perform annual tank inspections for assigned accounts.
• Work 8-12 hour days in the territory with occasional overnight trips.
• Safely operate a company-provided service truck.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
