Job summary

Air Products seeks a Maintenance & Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain cryogenic liquid, industrial gas, and process gas systems at customer sites within a ~250‑mile radius. The role requires travel, on‑site problem solving, and after‑hours availability, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Expect to work with pumps, compressors, regulators, valves, and instrumentation; you will follow P&IDs and loop diagrams, perform LOTO procedures, and support continuous uptime for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred but not required.
• Welding or brazing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel daily to customer sites within a 250-mile radius.
• Comfortable working on de‑energized circuits up to 480V and reading loop diagrams.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and 4–20 mA instrumentation signals.

Responsibilities

• Service cryogenic, high‑pressure, and generated gas systems at customer sites.
• Occasionally supervise contractors and crane operations.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend call-outs; 24/7 availability.
• Travel includes overnight stays, especially during training and coverage needs.
• Operate company-provided equipment and maintain safety first.
