Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks a Maintenance & Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain cryogenic liquid, industrial gas, and process gas systems at customer sites within a 250-mile radius. The role reports to the Area Maintenance Manager and requires daily travel from the Lehigh Valley, PA area.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; a technical degree is preferred. Welding/brazing experience is nice to have, with a strong emphasis on safety and on-call

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree preferred but not required.
• Welding or brazing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel daily to customer sites within ~250 mile radius.
• Strong safety mindset with adherence to LOTO and safety procedures.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and instrumentation loops.

Responsibilities

• Service cryogenic and generated gas systems at customer sites.
• Occasionally supervise contractors and crane operations.
• Participate in afterhours and weekend callouts; 24/7 availability as needed.
• Utilize company-provided equipment and tools on site.
• Overnight travel may be required during training or to support customers outside normal territory.
