Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks a Maintenance and Service Technician to join our Customer Engineering Team, reporting to the Area Maintenance Manager.

The ideal candidate resides in the Bel Air, MD or Washington DC area and will service cryogenic liquid, industrial gas, and process gas systems at customer sites within approximately a 250-mile radius. You will install, repair, and maintain equipment, travel daily, and participate in afterhours callouts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• May have a Technical degree; preferred for advancement.
• Welding or brazing experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to drive, climb, lift, and work outdoors year-round.

Responsibilities

• Service cryogenic, high-pressure, and generated gas systems at customer sites within the region.
• Occasionally supervise contractors and crane operations.
• Participate in afterhours and weekend callouts; maintain 24/7 availability.
• Utilize company-provided truck, gas card, laptop, truck, uniforms, and tools.
• Travel includes overnight stays; training period may require more time in the first six months.
