Job summary

Independence Excavating, Inc. seeks a Crusher Foreman to lead crushing projects from start to finish on our team. You will manage crew activities, ensure proper maintenance, and operate crushing equipment to meet production targets while upholding core company values.

The role requires five years of relevant experience and a strong focus on safety and efficiency. A HS diploma or equivalent is required, with construction certifications preferred and opportunities for growth within a family-owned

Qualifications

• Five years previous related experience required.
• HS diploma or equivalent required; construction certifications preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to build positive working relationships with owners and project managers.
• Extensive knowledge of aggregate equipment operation and safety procedures (MSHA/OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret material testing procedures and gradations.
• Review project details with Project Manager and Superintendent prior to start.
• Review, operate and maintain all crushing equipment for assigned jobs.
• Coordinate mobilization of crusher equipment with the Superintendent.
• Schedule resources daily with Superintendent to maintain efficient work flow.
• Maintain subcontractor tickets and ensure accuracy with PM.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a positive company image.
