Job summary

FLSmidth in Johnson City, TN seeks a Technical Sales Manager – Crushing Equipment to drive equipment and aftermarket sales by applying deep crushing technology knowledge and understanding customer requirements. You will engage mine sites, quarries, engineering firms and OEM partners to deliver value‑added solutions.

The role blends technical application expertise with strong commercial skills, proposal development, and field assessments.

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding of crushing principles, throughputs, run-of-mate requirements.
• Experience communicating with mine sites, engineering firms, and OEMs.
• Ability to develop technical proposals, quotes, and tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Drive equipment and aftermarket sales by applying crushing technology knowledge and customer requirements.
• Identify, pursue and qualify new capital equipment opportunities and service packages.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess crushing circuits, feed characteristics, and bottlenecks.
• Prepare technical proposals, sizing calculations, and commercial quotes; support contract negotiations.
