Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for Crushing Equipment to drive equipment and aftermarket sales by applying deep crushing technology knowledge, mineral processing insight, and customer requirements at mine sites, quarries, and engineering firms.

This role focuses on crushers (jaw, cone, gyratory), related systems, and lifecycle services, demanding strong technical acumen and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or related discipline.
• Equivalent industry experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and pain points gathering input to deliver value-add solutions.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities for capital equipment, wear parts, and service packages.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess crushing circuits, feed characteristics, and bottlenecks.
• Prepare technical proposals, sizing calculations, commercial quotes, and tender submissions.
• Assist with contract negotiations and pricing discussions to enhance closing potential.
• Convey the commercial vision and value propositions of FLS Crushing & Screening equipment.
