ISMIRA Agency is actively recruiting for an Assistant Maître d’ for Carnival Cruise Line. The role oversees Room Service and banqueting, supervising two Headwaiters and assisting in guest dining operations to ensure smooth service and high guest satisfaction.

Requirements include a Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality, at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant, strong English communication, and experience with wine and fine dining.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in wine and fine dining in high-volume cruise or hotel setting.
Minimum 3 years supervisory/management experience in a restaurant.
Cruise line experience preferred.
Good level of English; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Oversee Room Service and banqueting; supervise two Headwaiters and assist in dining room operations.
Monitor staff attendance, attitude, cleanliness, neatness and service.
Communicate procedural changes and upcoming events to Room Service.
Check trays for correct setup and ensure equipment cleanliness and maintenance.
Conduct orientation for F&B Servers and Operators in Room Service; maintain par stocks and inventories.
Liaise with Groups Coordinator to ensure group functions are set up and replenished timely.
Ensure wheelchairs are positioned properly and staff follow procedures for wheelchair duty.
Monitor cost distribution in Room Service and beverage stock for in-cabin service.
Collaborate with Senior Maitre d’ on crew matters and evaluations of F&B staff.
Ensure compliance with United States Public Health standards.
