Job summary

ISMIRA Agency is seeking a Maître D to join Carnival Cruise Line on a ship. You will supervise dining operations, coordinate events, and lead service staff to ensure superb guest experiences for a high-volume dining program.

Required: hospitality degree and 3+ years in restaurant management on ships or luxury venues; excellent English and leadership. Benefits include on-board meals and accommodation, medical insurance, and a first joining ticket.

Qualifications

• Mandatory ship experience in restaurant management.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory or management experience in a high-volume hotel/restaurant/cruise line.
• Extensive wine and fine dining service knowledge.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Good level of English; age 21+; strong guest communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ship restaurant activities in main dining rooms and Lido, ensuring standards and guest satisfaction.
• Adjust server schedules with supervision to optimize man-hours.
• Administer dining room reservations and accommodate special requests.
• Deliver speeches during dinners and events to promote venues.
• Oversee performance of restaurant staff and management.
• Plan training for dining staff to maintain high performance.
