Job summary

ISMIRA Agency is actively recruiting for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager for Carnival Cruise Line. The role supports the Food Operations Manager in overseeing food production, guest services, and planning tasks on board.

A diploma or degree in hospitality is required, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience in food operations on ships, resorts, or large hotels. English proficiency and 21+ years old are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hospitality, hotel management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in line with Carnival Vision, Culture Essentials, and Values.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and GHESS/VSP Section 7.
• Coordinate with Auxiliary, Culinary and Restaurant teams for galley service efficiency.
• Oversee galley breakdowns and washdowns after service.
• Assist Food Operations Manager in monitoring all Food Operations areas.
• Manage supply financial plans and expenditure controls monthly and fiscally.
• Oversee inventory levels and set par levels for operations supplies.
• Monitor and maintain galley equipment and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Investigate equipment malfunctions and coordinate with parts/repairs.
• Lead galley supervisors and attendants through briefings and training.
