Job summary

TEGNA Inc. in Saint Louis is seeking an experienced Account Executive to grow a local and regional book of advertising clients across broadcast TV, Premion streaming/CTV and digital. You will build pipelines, pitch multi‑platform solutions, and close deals while hitting revenue targets.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in media or ad sales, strong prospecting skills, and the ability to present data‑driven ROI. Travel locally as needed, competitive base plus commission offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of media, digital, or advertising sales with a proven revenue track record.
• Ability to prospect, open new business, and build a self-sustaining pipeline.
• Knowledge of broadcast TV, streaming/CTV, programmatic, digital video, and display.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by building a strong pipeline of local and regional advertisers.
• Sell strategically with multi‑platform solutions across broadcast TV, Premion/CTV, and digital.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, present, negotiate and close.
• Grow and defend the book by upselling and cross‑selling across portfolios.
• Pitch with data to show ROI from broadcast reach and connected‑TV targeting.
• Manage pipeline, forecast, and coordinate campaigns with internal teams.
