Job summary

CUMULUS MEDIA in Flint, MI is seeking an Account Executive to manage and expand relationships with local and regional businesses. You will deliver marketing solutions across broadcast, digital, and events to help clients achieve business goals, while growing revenue and maintaining strong relationships.

The role requires proactive prospecting, excellent communication, and the ability to educate clients on the full suite of Cumulus products. Commission-based earning with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience, preferably in advertising or media.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with clients.
• Ability to identify client business needs and craft marketing solutions.
• Experience in developing and maintaining a sales pipeline.
• Comfort with multi-platform marketing offerings (broadcast, digital, events).
• Familiarity with CRM tools and lead-generation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with local and regional businesses to grow revenue.
• Provide marketing solutions that meet client objectives across platforms.
• Negotiate and close deals while maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Learn and stay updated on Cumulus assets and advertising opportunities.
• Represent the full suite of products including digital, internet marketing, events.
• Develop creative messaging for campaigns and manage sales fulfillment.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting and networking.
• Prepare orders, resolve billing issues, and forecast performance with reports.
• Collaborate with teams to maximize brand representation and client success.
