Job summary

AJC Group seeks a Warehouse Operations Support Specialist to flex across produce inspection, intermodal trucking support, and receiving/appointment desk duties. The role reports to the Transportation Lead and adapts to shifting priorities with strong teamwork and communication.

Key responsibilities include coordinating delivery/pickup changes, handling paperwork, updating WMS data, and assisting with route planning, dispatch documents, and inventory reporting in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in logistics, transportation, receiving, dispatching, produce inspection, or related operational support roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and the ability to learn warehouse management and dispatch systems.
• Experience with accurate data entry and maintaining records in operational systems.
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support three key areas of warehouse operations: produce inspection, intermodal trucking, and receiving/appointment desk.
• Coordinate dispatch with scheduling and communication of delivery or pickup changes.
• Assist with planning routes, generating dispatch documents, freight bills, and invoices.
• Support inventory reporting, billing, and general office operations for intermodal trucking.
• Manage inbound delivery appointments and update scheduling systems.
• Process driver paperwork and ensure bills match purchase orders.
• Track inbound trailers and coordinate removal after unloading.
• Coordinate with inventory control, procurement, and facility management.
• Serve as the first point of contact for receiving inquiries.
• Enter receiving data into the WMS and support reporting tasks.
• Verify produced goods against purchase orders and document quality checks.
• Note discrepancies or quality issues in logs and communicate findings.
