Job summary

DeWinter Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate for an onsite six-month contract in South San Francisco, CA. You will handle receiving, inspecting, and organizing materials to keep inventory accurate and support production and shipping activities.

Ideal candidates have a strong eye for detail, experience in warehouse operations, and proficiency with ERP/WMS/MRP systems. This role offers hands-on learning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and the chance to contribute to process

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control.
  • Proven inventory management and material storage best practices.
  • Proficiency with ERP, WMS, MRP, or similar systems.
  • Accurate physical and system inventory transactions with discrepancy resolution.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming materials, maintaining precise inventory records, and supporting production and shipping activities. Your efforts will ensure materials move efficiently through the supply chain, supporting overall manufacturing excellence. This onsite role is a six-month contract with the potential for extension, providing a great opportunity to develop your skills within a reputable organization.

Required Skills
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control
  • Deep understanding of warehouse organization, inventory management, and material storage best practices
  • Proficiency with ERP, WMS, MRP, or similar inventory systems
  • Proven track record of executing accurate physical and system inventory transactions and resolving discrepancies
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with process improvements using 5S principles
  • Knowledge of inventory replenishment, kitting, and material transfers
  • Capabilities in conducting routine cycle counts and audits
Preferred Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing or logistics environments, ideally with 5+ years in a warehouse setting

  • This position is onsite, requiring physical presence at the facility
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
