Job summary

JMI Resource is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse operations team. The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking/packing orders, packaging for shipping, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, conducting cycle counts, and upholding safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of orders against packing slips or invoices.
• Unload, unpack, and stock incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to picking lists or instructions.
• Prepare orders for shipping by properly packaging items and labeling packages with shipping information.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by keeping aisles clear and shelves neat.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
