Job summary

The role reports to the Sr. Director of Cross-Dock Operations and requires 5+ years of management in high-volume material handling, preferably in the automotive industry, with strong problem-solving and knowledge of shipping/receiving.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant degree or 3-5 years of industry experience.
• Strong leadership and experience in high-volume material handling.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving operations.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to improve processes.
• Ability to train staff on safety and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day cross-dock operation and warehousing activities.
• Train on safety procedures, operational processes, and customer requirements.
• Serve as primary liaison between cross-dock and customers.
• Foster professional development of Team Leaders and staff.
• Lead Kaizen activities and drive continuous improvements.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and processes.
• Maintain accurate performance metrics.
• Schedule: Mon-Fri with possible weekends.
