Job summary

Venture Solutions seeks a Crossdock Supervisor to lead inbound/outbound logistics, staffing, and shift operations. You will direct a team, manage material flow, and ensure timely loading and unloading of shipments.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and process improvement, with responsibility for KPI tracking and communications with customers. A relevant bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of automotive logistics or crossdock experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or business related field with 1 to 3 years of experience in Automotive Logistics or Crossdock environment required
• Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts including probability, statistics and geometry; apply them to shipment data
• Reasoning and problem-solving skills; proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Oversee tactical and operational planning of inbound/outbound logistics operations
• Monitor loads for on-time receipt and delivery window conformance
• Enforce safety rules and guidelines
• Train, test, and certify material handlers
• Oversee receiving and loading of trucks and paperwork
• Maintain SOPs and work instructions
• Communicate load status to customers and central service groups
• Maintain KPI deck for reviews
• Ensure proper receiving, inspection, and put-away processes
• Adjust shifts to meet demand and manage costs
• Promote a clean, safe working environment
• Track and report KPI metrics
