Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. seeks Crop Technician Interns to support crop diagnostics across the growing season. You will scout fields, collect tissue samples, perform UAV-based observations, and assist with field signs and soil sampling.

You’ll travel within the territory, work outdoors in all weather, and participate in weekly development activities while learning under the Ag Tech team.

Qualification includes enrollment in agronomy or related studies and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Enrolled in agronomy or related field.
• Experience with GPS or field equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scout fields and create reports identifying weeds, pests, growth stages, and anomalies.
• Perform UAV flights to collect imagery and data for analysis.
• Collect corn or soybean tissue samples and prep for testing.
• Conduct soil moisture tests and report results to Ag Tech team.
• Collect soil nitrate samples to monitor in-season nutrients.
• Install and manage field signs as needed.
• Travel 100% within territory; time split between fields and training/events.
