Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Crop Technician Intern to support field diagnostics and agronomy services. The role involves scouting fields, collecting tissue samples, conducting UAV flights for data imagery, and assisting with soil moisture and soil sampling.

You will work under the Ag Tech team across the growing season. Ideal candidates are agronomy students or those with a keen interest in agricultural science, able to travel extensively in the territory, and comfortable using an

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors for extended periods and all weather conditions.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision and timely work completion.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university; agronomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scout fields and create scouting reports identifying weeds, insects, diseases, growth stages and stand counts.
• Conduct UAV flights to observe fields and collect imagery data.
• Collect corn or soybean tissue samples and prepare for testing.
• Perform soil moisture probing and soil sampling; report results to Ag Tech team.
• Organize and place field signs and travel 100% within the territory.
