Job summary

Keystone Cooperative is seeking Crop Technician Interns to perform crop diagnostics across the growing season, including scouting, tissue sampling, soil moisture probing, UAV data collection, and supporting informed decisions with the Ag Tech team.

Interns will travel within the territory, spend most time in fields, and participate in weekly development activities. Applicants pursuing agronomy or related studies and possessing a valid driver’s license are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Scouting reports identifying weeds, insects, diseases, growth stages, stand counts, and field anomalies.
• UAV flights to obtain aerial imagery and collect data.
• Tissue sampling of corn or soybean for testing.
• Soil moisture probing and reporting data to Ag Tech.
• Soil sampling for in-season nutrient monitoring.
• Organize, place, and remove field signs.
• Travel 100% within territory; 75% in fields, 25% training/events.
• Flexible work schedule and weekly professional development.
