Job summary

Keystone Cooperative is seeking a Crop Technician Intern to support field diagnostics throughout the growing season. You will scout fields, collect tissue samples, perform UAV flights, and help with soil moisture and soil sampling while reporting findings to the Ag Tech team.

Expect 100% territory travel, with 75% in fields and 25% in training or events, and a flexible schedule with weekly development activities. Currently enrolled students in agronomy or related fields encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather.
• Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Scout fields and create reports on weeds, insects, diseases, growth stages, and stand counts.
• Perform UAV flights to collect imagery and data.
• Collect corn or soybean tissue for testing.
• Conduct soil moisture probing and soil sampling.
• Manage field signs and report observations to Ag Tech team.
• Travel 100% within the territory; 75% in fields, 25% training.
