Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Crop Technician Intern to assist in field scouting, UAV imaging, tissue sampling, and soil moisture work. The role involves 100% travel within the designated territory and relies on self-motivation and strong organization.

The position offers an hourly wage and opportunities for professional development, mileage reimbursement, and drone-license related support as part of the internship experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Demonstrates strong organization and self-management.
• Currently enrolled in accredited college or university; agronomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scout fields and create reports identifying weeds, insects, diseases, growth stages, stand counts and anomalies.
• Perform UAV flights to collect aerial imagery and data.
• Collect corn/soybean tissue samples and prepare for testing.
• Conduct soil moisture probing and report data; install moisture sensors as needed.
• Organize, place, and remove field signs; travel 100% within territory.
