Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. offers a Crop Technician Intern position focused on field scouting, tissue sampling, soil moisture probing, UAV data collection, and supporting agronomy services. Interns will travel across the territory, conducting scouting and data collection with guidance from the Ag Tech team.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning in agronomy, drone observations, and soil sampling, with a flexible schedule and professional development activities throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university with an interest in agronomy.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel 100% within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Scout fields and create reports identifying weeds, insects, diseases, growth stages, stand counts, and anomalies.
• Conduct UAV flights to observe fields, produce imagery, and collect data.
• Collect tissue and soil samples and prepare for testing.
• Assist with field signs organization and data reporting to Ag Tech team.
