Job summary

GreenStone Farm Credit Services invites applications for an Associate Crop Insurance Agent. The role supports crop insurance sales plans, provides technical guidance, and demonstrates products to customer teams in the assigned region.

The incumbent may conduct educational demonstrations for individuals and groups. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree (business/agriculture/finance preferred), 1+ years in agriculture or insurance, and must obtain an insurance license for crop insurance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; business, agriculture, finance or related majors preferred.
1+ years of experience in the agriculture or insurance field.
Must acquire and maintain an insurance license for crop insurance sales.
40-50% daytime travel within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Provide quality sales and service for row crop growers and support agents, processors, and insurance companies.
Educate producers on risk management options and build/maintain policies.
Assist with mapping fields, auditing policies, and servicing renewals.
Enter data into customer databases and insurance software per requirements.
Produce reports and maintain knowledge of crop insurance products.
