Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Crop Consultant to expand sales of crop inputs and provide expert guidance to growers. You will develop new prospects and manage relationships to meet sales targets while ensuring product quality and timely delivery.

The role also involves credit risk reviews and accounts receivable collection as part of the sales process. The successful candidate will leverage agricultural knowledge to advise growers, collaborate with internal teams, and support growth

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; if none, 5+ years agriculture experience required.
• 2+ years’ experience in agriculture industry and chemical applications.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with growers to increase agricultural inputs sales and meet sales goals.
• Ensure on-time, accurate delivery and product quality to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Create strategies to grow sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and propose actions to resolve problems.
• Perform initial credit reviews to assess risk and advise credit limits.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivable from customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
