UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for a variety of surgical and diagnostic procedures. The role includes clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and work in a team-focused academic medical center.

The position is part-time with a schedule that runs 6 a.m.–7 p.m. and alternates weekends. Eligible benefits include PSLF eligibility, generous PTO, and education support.

Qualifications

• CRNA certification required and active
• APN with CRNA specialty and Alabama nursing licensure required
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications current

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under anesthesiologist supervision for diverse procedures
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students
