UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for a diverse range of procedures, including cardiothoracic cases and diagnostic tests. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and hold APN/CRNA certification with Alabama Board, plus ACLS, BLS, and PALS credentials.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.
• APN with CRNA specialty certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification is required.
• PALS (American Heart Association) certification is required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement.

Mansioni

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
