Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for a range of surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases. The role emphasizes clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Qualified candidates will hold an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program graduate credential with CRNA specialty Alabama Board of Nursing, and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• CRNA Specialty certification by Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
